憑海臨風詠煙臺

煙水無涯夜有終，我心如海照長空。和光風浪連天起，也逐沙鷗向日紅。

Mist and sea without end—yet night gives way to dawn.My heart, like the sea, holds the whole sky.Light, wind, and waves rise together toward heaven;I follow the gulls into the reddening sun.

鑑賞Appreciation
四句由將盡的夜色轉向初升的紅日，視線也從海面移入心中，再隨沙鷗向外伸展。「我心如海」使風浪既是景物，也是內心的動勢。結句不求凌空獨去，而以「也逐」加入鳥群，讓開闊與同行相伴。
The four lines turn from the ending night toward sunrise. Their movement passes from the sea into the heart, then outward again with the gulls. Wind and waves become both a visible landscape and an inward energy. The final gesture is not solitary flight: the speaker follows the birds, allowing openness to emerge through participation in the scene.
